Oyster Stew FAQ

Q: When did you get started with the canned products.

A: We started the process in 1994 and after a long and methodical journey came to market in the Winter of 2001 with Manhattan and New England Clam Chowder. Our first store was Atlantic Highlands Super Foodtown. We added Lobster Bisque in the Fall of 2002.

Q How many stores are you in now.

A: We are presently in 215 stores in 6 states.

Q: What is the next flavor. A: Baykeeper Oyster Stew now available at the restaurant and soon in stores. 10 % of the proceeds will be donated back to the Ny/Nj Baykeeper's Oyster Gardening project.

Q: Where are the oysters harvested for the stew. A: The cannery that we are using certified domestic oysters from the best available sources at canning.

Q: Where are the products made. A: We contract out at a cannery down south.
